The following plot, Figure 2, was generated by varying the Down Converter RF Input from 2.1 to 3.0 GHz @ -40 dBm and measuring the Down Converter IF output power level. The low pass filter on the mixer IF port does not attenuate power in the DC to 1 GHz range but attenuates the 2 GHz LO power leakage through the mixer. Since the LO is fixed at 2.0 GHz, the mixer IF output frequency is the RF frequency - 2 GHz = 100 to 1000 MHz.
