Shown below (Figure 1 and 2) is a broad-band amplifier that uses the Mini-Circuits ERA-3SM MMIC, the Mini-Circuits ADCH-80 broadband RF choke, and porcelain surface mount capacitors to produce approximately 15 +/- 1 dB gain from 2.0 to 3.0 GHz (see Figure 3 for gain plot). Figure 4 and 5 shows the Return Loss of both amplifier ports. Figure 6 gives information on component type/location and connections. The DC power required is 12 Volts, 35 mA.
