Shown below (Figure 1 and 2) is a broad-band amplifier that uses the Mini-Circuits ERA-3SM MMIC, the Mini-Circuits ADCH-80 broadband RF choke, and ceramic surface mount capacitors to produce approximately 19 +/- 3 dB gain from 100 MHZ to 2.0 GHz (see Figure 3 for gain plot). Figure 4 shows output power at the 1 dB gain compression point for 500 MHz. Figure 5 gives information on component type/location and connections. The DC power required is 12 Volts, 35 mA.
