Shown in Figures 1 through 6 is a UHF Generator Assembly producing 7.5 +/- 1.5 dBm at frequencies from 490 to 1060 MHz on the front panel SMA connector. See Figure 8 and 9 for frequency and power plots.
For signal and swept frequency applications, the front panel dial is used to set the center frequency (CF). To generate a swept frequency (Delta F), connection of a triangle waveform from a function generator to the GA1K back panel BNC connector is required. The GA1K is supplied with a 36 inch length DC power cable permanently attached for connection to the 11K18 DC power supply. See Figure 7 for details. Figure 2 shows the location on the chassis back panel of the DC power connections. +18 VDC (Green) and -18 VDC (Yellow) connect to the chassis back panel feed-thru terminals, and common ground (black) is connected to a solder lug located on the lower center of the chassis back panel.
